With playful contrasts and colour-blocked surfaces, the design of their 3 BHK home is steeped in a delightful visual narrative that promises to never go out of style.  Following the brief given to them to the letter, the HomeLane team has managed to effortlessly carve out tranquil spaces within Bangalore’s urban jungle. The stark white walls in every room create a serene backdrop, complemented by the gleaming ivory vitrified tiles that add a harmonious tone. Against this neutral base, contrasting colours hum with vibrancy and warm the narrative. The predominantly white décor is easy and relaxing, peppered with practical detailing that makes all the difference. The entertainment centre in the living room features a white and wood palette, with a tall glass-encased cabinet to one side that can be used to showcase books or collectibles. Long, sleek wooden ledges frame the TV and offer plenty of display space. 

In the master bedroom, a wall-to-wall three door sliding wardrobe offers plenty of space for bedroom essentials.  The mirrored shutter, set in between the olive and ivory high-gloss panels, opens up the space, making it appear visually larger than it is. A simple foldaway desk on the adjacent wall offers a practical solution for work-from-home nights.

A refreshing colour palette of sky blue and dove grey sets the tone in the second bedroom, with every nook and cranny meticulously designed to optimise space utility.  A homework station for two lines up tidily against one wall, with cabinets above to hold books, stationery and school supplies.

The wardrobe is designed with sliding shutters, the best choice for a bedroom that has a compact footprint! The loft shutters in grey add delightful contrast to the colour-blocked blue sliding doors. A simple rectangular mirror, also framed in grey, hangs on the wall alongside. A wardrobe done up in a lovely tangerine and beige combo grabs attention and adds delicious warmth to the third bedroom in the house. Here, too, sliding shutters maximise the floor space in the room and add comfort to convenience. This is a space that energises and revitalises, the best way to refresh yourself after a hard day’s work!

Next to the window, a spacious home office in the same colour palette features a built-in book shelf to one side and open cabinets above, providing ample storage for books, documents, and office supplies. The natural light streaming through the window creates a bright and productive workspace, helping one to stay focused!

Packed with plenty of storage and sleek, minimalistic aesthetics, this L-shaped modern kitchen is done up in a bright and saturated shade of sky blue. The upper cabinets in silken ivory offer elegant contrast, while the beige tiles and black counters tie the look together. The counter on the second side of the kitchen neatly extends into a breakfast table, offering extra space for prep and for serving up the most scrumptious buffet dinners when entertaining guests. Deep drawers below the counter are designed with push-to-open shutters, lending a sleek and seamless look that minimalists are sure to love.
